What is the difference between Shopify and Etsy

Migration challenges: The migration of Shopify users to other platforms can be a little tricky. Many users say that choosing to make such a modification might make migration more difficult in multiple ways. While migrating from Shopify, you can also lose part of your saved data. The only option left for you is to export your website as a CSV. If you’re not an expert at building websites, you may end up getting a headache and feeling confused on what to do after.

The most expensive Shopify plan is the $299 per month Advanced Shopify plan. This has  everything from the first two plans, plus an advanced report builder and third-party calculated shipping rates, and lower credit card rates.

Etsy 

Pros: 

Easy Setup: You simply create an account, add product details and photographs, and begin selling. It is easy to get started with this fundamental e-commerce system.

Promote Your Store to a Big Audience: You may be able to generate purchases from organic search traffic on the Etsy home page by adding your products to the marketplace. You already have an audience since buyers look for handcrafted things on Etsy. Listing your products on Etsy could be a terrific strategy to increase sales if you have trouble selling online.

The ability to work at own pace and schedule: One of the simplest methods for someone who specialized in handcrafted goods to starting a business is to run an Etsy store. Cons:

There are also costs associated with accepting PayPal or credit card purchases. You must consider the costs associated with maintaining your presence there when determining your prices.
